Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said at the GCC 2026 Forum in Manama on October 6 that the East-West pipeline was back up to 5.8 million barrels a day as of that morning, against a 7 mb/d maximum capacity and about 2 mb/d in August per Kpler. That is above the 4 to 5 mb/d the line carried as the kingdom's Hormuz bypass before the September drone strike, and well ahead of the six-to-eight-week full-restart timeline given at the September 22 restart.
