Overnight into September 3 Iran targeted Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait with missiles and drones in further retaliation for the American strikes, taking Brent above $96 a barrel. This is the second retaliatory wave in three days and the first to hit the UAE, a Gulf producer rather than a base host.
